Feasibility Planning

Analyzing user’s needs, goals and life and safety requirements
Developing preliminary design concepts that are functional and financially appropriate
Ensuring compliance with corporate building and maintenance standards, such as Accessibility Design Guidelines (AODA) and Leadership in Environmental Design (LEED)

Design and Material Sourcing

Sourcing finish materials for schedules, specifications, as well as millwork details for construction
Creating specification drawings for interior construction, materials, finishes, space planning, furnishings, fixtures and equipment
Proposing comprehensive new workplace space accommodation initiatives based on physical building attributes

Permit and Tender

Preparing Request for Proposals, Request for Quotations and Tender Documents for consultant and contractor selection
Responding to bidder inquiries, preparing agenda, and conducting site meetings
Facilitating project related meetings and liaising with client representatives and project partners, until project completion

Construction Drawings

Preparing permit/tender drawings and specifications relating to all interior architectural design aspects of assigned project
Collaborating with other professionals who offer services in the technical areas of mechanical, architectural, electrical, and structural design as required for regulatory approval (building permits)
Monitoring and ensuring record drawings and documentation (soft and hard files) relating to Building Permit are maintained accurate and up-to-date
